ADVOCATES CELEBRATES 20TH ANNIVERSARY AT GALA

Advocates for Homeless Families, Inc. celebrated its 20th Anniversary year serving the Frederick Community at their Make a House a Home Gala held August 27, 2008 at Martin’s Caterers, Walkerville, MD. This year’s Honorary Chairs were Tom Lynch and Karlys Kline.

Special recognitions included Corporate Philanthropy Award presented to Scott Isanogle, Frederick Performance Center, and Participant of the Year awarded to a family in the Families Forward Program.

Also acknowledged was Ruth Roney, a leading founder of Advocates, and who dedicated numerous volunteer hours to establish the organization. New executive director, Jeanne Russell, was also introduced to families and guests at the event.
