Songs of Hope Community Event

Come stop by and visit our table at this amazing event.
This open-house event benefits women and children in Frederick and the surrounding area and it’s for everyone. Come eat, listen to live music, and connect with neighbors across faith, background, and community. Picnic 5-6 p.m. with free hot dogs, local musicians, food trucks. 6-8 p.m. stadium opens with local charity groups, volunteer opportunities, kids’ activities, music. 7-9 p.m. watch a live stream from the Hollywood Bowl featuring the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square’s “Songs of Hope” charity concert.
We believe that gathering face to face strengthens our community, and we’d love to have you be part of it.
5:00–6:00 PM — Outdoor Picnic Free hot dogs, chips, and cookies on the stadium grounds! Local musicians will perform, and food trucks may be on-site for additional options.
6:00–8:00 PM — Stadium Opens Head inside to explore local charity booths, learn about volunteer opportunities, and enjoy live music on the field. Hands-on service activities will be available for individuals and families. Kids’ activities (like a bounce house!) may also be on-site.
7:00–9:00 PM — Live Broadcast Watch a live stream from the Hollywood Bowl featuring the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square’s Songs of Hope charity concert, benefitting women and children worldwide.
This event was initiated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but we want this to be a celebration owned by the whole community. Churches, schools, charities, rotary clubs, scout troops, families, and organizations of all kinds are warmly invited to get involved.
