Brittany: Pandemic Worries to More Possibilities

Brittany, a single mother of two teenagers, lost her job and income due to the Covid downturn. Evicted from her home, she was accepted into Advocates’ transitional housing program where she was provided, not only shelter, but counseling, job training, and educational opportunities. Pursuing a degree in business management, Brittany landed a full-time management position in a Frederick business where she thrives today. She has moved into a new townhome that is filled with hope and possibility. Inspired by their mom, Britany’s children excel in school. Brittany’s story proves that with the right resources, and unwavering support and resolve, overcoming adversity is possible.
