Ramazani (Luca) and Branca: Finding Refuge
After a harrowing journey to America and the Frederick area to escape violence in their country and earn a better life, the Luca, Branca, and their young daughter of Angola, Africa entered Advocates’ transitional housing program and started on the long road to stabilizing their lives. The entire family learned English while the father earned his regular and commercial driver’s license, received work authorizations, and is now fully and gainfully employed. Advocates is extremely proud to be a part of this family’s journey from homelessness to full independence.
