ADVOCATES TO CELEBRATE ANNUAL “MAKE A HOUSE A HOME” 2009 GALA

Advocates for Homeless Families, Inc., will hold its annual Gala celebration and dinner on Wednesday, September 23rd, at Martin’s Caterers in Walkersville. Mrs. Frances Randall serves as Honorary Chairperson for the event. Joe Case, Advocate’s new Executive Director, will make his Gala debut. The evening will feature the presentation of awards to a Participant of the Year, an outstanding volunteer, and outstanding corporate supporters of the organization, as well as music by Bert Lams of the California Guitar Trio and the Sinistral Jazz Trio. A raffle and a silent auction will also add to the fun.

Advocates is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization whose mission is to empower motivated families to overcome homelessness through a two-year structured program of education, housing, and support services. To make reservations for the Gala or for more information about Advocates, call 301-662-2003.

Advocates 2009, “Make a House a Home” Gala will be September 23, 2009 at Martin’s Caterers, 79 W. Frederick Street, Walkersville, MD. The event begins at 6 p.m. – Tickets are $85 per person.
